  • Represented energy companies in litigation processes, including cases of a value of several hundred million zlotys concerning settlements of dues related to electricity supplies
  • Represented energy companies in concession procedures, approval of tariffs and decisions on concluding agreements pursuant to the energy law provisions
  • His efforts led to the adoption by the Supreme Court of a resolution of seven judges (III SZP 2/04) concerning the increase in justified costs and their impact on the tariff
  • Participated in a team of lawyers responsible for the consolidation process of energy companies comprising the so-called G-8 Group (eight power distribution companies) operating in northern Poland
  • Participated in the process of implementation of the TPA principle (third party access to the grid) and separation of distribution from trade of electricity, arising from the implementation of EU directives in the ENERGA Group.

Grzegorz acted as an advisor to the management board of PGE ENERGIA Spółka Akcyjna in respect of conversion of shares of the companies comprising its Corporate Group into shares of PGE S.A. He conducted training seminars organized by Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association (Polskie Towarzystwo Przesyłu i Rozdziału Energii Elektrycznej) in the field of energy law, in particular concerning illegal electricity usage, trimming or removal of trees growing close to power lines, public aid and public information.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University, he also completed judge’s training and passed a judicial examination (1986). In 1991-2016 he rendered legal services to entities operating within the energy industry, i.e. Zakład Energetyczny Płock, and subsequently its legal successor, Koncern Energetyczny ENERGA SA and ENERGA – OPERATOR SA, and its parent company, ENERGA SA. He acted as a legal expert for the

Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association.
